Lars Shurilla What a freakin' album! So good. Favorite track: Launch Day.

Dan Butler Magnetosphere is a sonically massive album and a landmark accomplishment for Guérin. It is marked by meticulous production, thoughtful writing, and a meaty narrative. The sheer strength of this album is staggering in the context of Guérin's relatively small discography. First time listeners could easily mistake Guérin for a long-time chip veteran who has endured decades of development. Favorite track: Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) (feat. Nanode).

about

Meridian was cramped. Its people had lived for millennia, grounded on their planet. Peak, their twin stars, pelt their world with massive waves of radiation, grounding most space-bound vehicles.

After hundreds of tests, failures, and redesigns, the Tahln finally did it. They'd built the rocket that would survive an orbit around Meridian and splashdown on the other side of the world.

This time it would work.

After 3 years of production, my debut album is finally out!

Thank you to everyone who waited (and waited...and waited) for this one. I couldn't have done this without the help of my friends and mentors Sean, Bryan, and Sam. Not only did they agree to collaborate with me on his album and two other projects, but they all have also pushed me to be better and learn just a bit more about how to make music better. Thank you three for helping me get where I am now. I'm forever indebted to you. <3

Also thanks to Patrick for putting up with listening to this album about as many times as I have, especially while I was writing. I have no idea how you put up with me while this was being written, but that you for your friendship and your patience. <3

And thank *you* for listening to this. It's something I've fought with myself tooth and nail to get out, and I'm supremely grateful that you gave it any of your time. <3

In no particular order, here are more thanks:

Brandon & Erin Hood, Willie Turner, Michelle Rossi, Antoinne Smith, Michael Blanton, Justin Filizola, Remi Prekariat, Curtis Ware, Adam Lankford, Glenn DuBois, Emily Feder, Rob Carballo, Paul Aupetitgendre, Maxime Roulleaux, Joshua Davis, Sam Mulligan, Neil Williams, Michael Allen, Noah Deck, Nigel Shields, Michael Vallejo, Randolph Waddell, Dennis Heflin, Cory Abrahams, Steve Lakawicz, Michael Raisner, Alisha Bhore, Matt Eisenberg, Werner Franz Doerwaldt, Kim Wilt, Wendy Dunn, Thibaud & Nano Guerin-Williams, and, of course, my parents.

If I didn't mention you, I'm sorry I really don't mean anything by it. Just know that everyone I've met has helped me get to this point. And I appreciate most of you (you know who you are ;3) regardless of if I mention you in an album description or not. <3
